Mandrakes are known as the fruit of love. The relationship between God and his people is filled with the smell of mandrakes.
In chapter one the Shulamite had not kept her garden...
But now she has a beautiful garden that she's proud of.
And her desire is to go forth into the vineyards and gardens and see how they are flourishing. Because his mission has become hers...and his heart has become her heart. The love he has for his people has become her love. ..And the song goes on...as he sings his love to her and praises her...Her response is this. I am my beloved’s and his desire is towards me....as they become as one heart. One spirit. ♡
